2004 - TableTouch - NewsTable, Smart Furniture.(preceded the iPad by 5 years)
NewsTable in a Cafe'
A bit more than meets the eye. Dual WiFi antennas, RFID/NFC sensors, the design was easily 8 years before its time.
The NewsTable was designed to create a cost effective, digital news distribution network. Target client was Starbucks and the New York Times. Everyday, 600 NYT deliveries are made in Starbucks nationwide. The NewsTable made this obsolete.
The NewsTable was designed to be a publicly accessible touchscreen, so it had t be tamper proof and indestructible. It is.
Both Starbucks and the New York Times, as well as Hearst Corporation, declared, 'there is no future in touch screen technology". Guess they were wrong.
2004 - TableTouch Content System- Touchscreen operating system and content, preceding the iPad by 5 years.
NewsTable Client Content feeds. Designed in 2004 by John Calder
Compared to Windows 8 Operating System designed by Microsoft in 2012

2020 - Spoovy - Targeted Media Sequencing Patent
According to Googles IP lawyers, I designed the predecessor to Google AdSense Software
To sequence custom multimedia content to an unique and targeted individual user. Each session unique.
Spoovy was a video greeting card company , delivering unique date to unique users. Messages were video, audio, text and hyperlinks, all sequenced dynamically.
Apparently I designed Googles AdSense 6 years before The Google boys did. Should be pending litigation
